Style rules

If a glyph isn't in the system, draw it inline in the same style. Never reach for Material Icons, Lucide, Heroicons, or Font Awesome on Earl-branded surfaces.

Do

  • Stroke-only, monoline at 1.4 weight
  • 24×24 viewBox where possible
  • Round line caps and joins
  • Inherit colour via currentColor
  • Match the diagonal trajectory of the CTA arrow

Don't

  • Import an icon library on the marketing site
  • Mix filled and stroked icons in one set
  • Use detailed multi-colour glyphs
  • Add drop shadows or gradients
  • Invent partner-style icons (cog, wrench, robot)

A note on this site

The brand site sidebar uses small lucide-style outline icons as internal navigation chrome. They're a usability aid for browsing the guidelines, not part of the brand surface. Anything that ships externally as Earl follows the rules above.
